Privacy

Your text stays with you

WordBench is built so that the words you type never leave your browser. This page spells out exactly what that means, and how cookies, analytics, and ads work on the site.

What happens to your text

Every tool on WordBench runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab. When you type into the word counter, paste a list into the duplicate remover, or run any other tool, the text is processed on your own device. It is never uploaded to a server, never logged, and never stored. Close or refresh the tab and it is gone. That holds true regardless of anything else on this page, since no tool ever sends the content of the editor anywhere.

Accounts and forms

WordBench has no accounts, no sign up, and no newsletter. The only form on the site is the contact page, which you use if you choose to send us a message; nothing else on the site asks you for information.

Cookies, analytics, and ads

WordBench does not currently run advertising or analytics scripts. If that changes, this section describes how it will work. The site may show ads served by third-party advertising partners (for example Google AdSense or Ezoic). Those partners can set cookies or use similar technology in your browser to serve ads, limit how often you see the same one, and measure how ads perform. We may also use privacy-aware analytics to understand which pages get used, at an aggregate level, never the words you type into a tool.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK, or another region with similar rules, you will be asked to give consent before any non-essential cookies are set or personalized ads are shown, through a standard consent banner. You can decline and still use every tool on the site; declining only affects whether ads are personalized, not whether the tools work.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may keep short-lived technical logs of requests (such as IP address and the page requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Those logs concern page requests only; the text you work on inside a tool is never part of any request. You can read more in Vercel's privacy policy.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, for example once an advertising partner or analytics provider is actually switched on, this page will be updated to say so plainly and name the partner involved. If you have a question about privacy on WordBench, use the contact page. You can also learn more on the about page or head back to the tools.
