The full bench
All text tools
A growing set of focused utilities for counting, cleaning, converting, and generating text. Each one runs entirely in your browser and opens the moment you click.
Counting and analysis
Measure text you already have. Reach for the word counter when the constraint is a word count, the character counter when it is a field limit, and the frequency counter when you want to see which words a draft actually leans on.
Case and formatting
Rewrite the shape of text without changing what it says. Case conversion for headings and code identifiers, capitalization for titles, and slugs for URLs.
Line tools
Work on a list rather than a paragraph. Deduplicate, sort, number, strip blanks, collapse stray spacing, or swap one phrase for another across every line at once.
Remove Duplicate Lines
Delete repeated lines from a list and keep only the unique ones.
Open tool →Alphabetize a List
Sort a list alphabetically, by last name or by length, or reverse it.
Open tool →Remove Line Breaks and Extra Spaces
Join lines broken by a PDF or email and collapse double spaces.
Open tool →Find and Replace
Find every occurrence of a phrase and swap it, with regex support.
Open tool →Remove Empty Lines
Strip blank lines out of a list or block of text in one click.
Open tool →Add Line Numbers
Prefix each line of your text with a sequential number.
Open tool →Generators
Produce text instead of measuring it. Placeholder copy for a layout, or a phrase repeated as many times as you need.
Unicode text
Turn ordinary letters into Unicode characters that survive a copy and paste into a bio, a chat or a post, where real formatting is not available. Each of these pages says which platforms render the result correctly and which do not.
Reverse Text
Flip your text so it reads backward, character by character.
Open tool →Upside Down Text
Flip text upside down, mirror it or reverse the words, then copy it.
Open tool →Bold Text Generator
Make bold text you can paste anywhere, using Unicode letters.
Open tool →Small Caps Generator
Convert text to small capitals you can copy and paste.
Open tool →Reference, not tools
Two things on WordBench are not utilities but published reference: the character limits per platform, each with its unit, its source document and the date it was checked, and the methodology, which writes out every counting rule these tools apply, including the full stop-word list.
