The short version: WordBench is a free set of text tools, you use it at your own judgment, and we keep this page honest about what that means.

Using WordBench

WordBench is free to use for personal and commercial work alike. There is no sign up and no license to accept before you start. Please do not try to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive rates, or use it to build or distribute anything unlawful.

Your content

Anything you type or paste into a tool belongs to you. WordBench processes it locally in your browser and does not receive, store, or claim any rights over it. See the privacy policy for the full detail on how your text is (and is not) handled.

No warranty

The tools are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep the counts, conversions, and generated text accurate, but WordBench is not responsible for decisions made based on its output. Always check anything that matters, such as a word count for a strict submission limit or text you are about to publish.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordBench and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Use it at your own discretion.

Advertising and third parties
